FAQS

What Kind Of Transition Services Do You Provide?

The John Volken Academy is designed to prepare our students with the necessary tools needed to not only change their lives but maintain healthy habits. As our students prepare for graduation they go through our Re-Entry Program which focuses on transitional planning and maintaining long-term recovery. We connect our students with mentors and they begin learning transitional skills for their future lives, some examples include: Financial Literacy, Resume Building, and Applying/Interviewing for Employment.

For students who have successfully completed our program, we offer transitional housing.

Do you offer specialized plans for each student?

Each student follows an individualized growth track. As they gain experience and excel in their roles, they are given increased responsibility, along with more opportunities for leadership, learning, and developing trade skills. Our goal is to equip each student with the tools needed to overcome their past and rejoin society as a productive member.

We believe that proper nutrition is a key component of whole-person transformation. Students receive three nutritious meals each day, along with snacks, supporting both their physical well-being and overall growth.

While the program is designed to be completed in of 27+ months, we remain committed to each student for as long as they are willing to continue. There is no additional cost for extended time, because our priority is lasting change.
